Mark Kennedy once made an amusing statement about today’s technology:

“All of the biggest technological inventions created by man – the airplane, the automobile, the computer, the cell phone – says little about his intelligence, but speaks volumes about his laziness.”

Somehow the tenacious Tim Torres, who grew up in Modesto, California, learned how to “barely survive” with the atrocious setbacks of the automobile, the computer, the World Wide Web, and wireless communication.

During high school Tim enrolled in the Texas Bible College, Excell Program, and four years later became the youngest student to ever graduate from the college; with honors he graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies.  He later decided to use his skills with computers to earn a technical degree from NTI, and was hired at Memorial Medical Center in 2000.   After several technical certifications and job promotions, he is now the IT Security Administrator for Sutter Health, Central Valley Information Services.

He is also an IT Consultant when he has the free time, but that’s if he’s not running a marathon, traveling the world, or playing a competitive game of golf!  He owns a home in Turlock, CA, and is looked after by his dog, Ollie, a Schnoodle.
